1. What HOLYGRAIL actually gives you (and us)
Most pages ranking for “edgeX referral code” promise 15%, 40% or 50% off. edgeX’s own pages say something simpler. Here is what we saw on October 19, 2026, logged out, with the dates so you can check it yourself:
- Your trading fees: unchanged. After opening our link, the order ticket shows the Regular 0.045% taker / 0.040% maker rate, the same as with no code. edgeX’s referral programme announcement of October 9, 2026 defines commission for the person who invites, and nothing for the person who joins.
- Sign-up rewards: edgeX’s, not ours. The invite page our link opens lists edgeX’s new-user missions (“up to 30,000 USDC” in rewards, unlocked over time) and Lucky Box drops from trading. It shows exactly the same block for every code we tried, including a made-up one, so these are edgeX’s general new-user rewards; the mission details appear only after login.
- VIP rates: earned by volume. VIP 1 (0.043% / 0.038%) starts at $10M of 14-day volume. On October 6, 2026 one partner code (OFFER) opened with a VIP1 badge; since the switch to the shared invite page, no code shows one.
- What we get. If enough people join through us, edgeX pays us 5%, 15% or 30% of their trading fees, out of its own fee income. It never adds to what you pay.
HOLYGRAIL pre-filled. The “Getting Started and Referral Benefits” block on the left is identical for every code, and no fee discount is listed.So why use our link at all? It costs you nothing, it attaches you to a referrer who publishes checked numbers like these, and you get edgeX’s normal new-user missions either way. If a lower fee is what you want, the code that does it is on Hyperliquid (next section).
2. edgeX fees vs a code that really cuts fees

Hyperliquid’s code discount is 4% on the first $25M of volume, the same for every code; Binance shown at its regular USDⓈ-M rate without BNB. edgeX VIP 1 needs $10M of combined perp and spot volume in 14 days.
For a taker, edgeX costs the same as Hyperliquid without a code, and more than Hyperliquid with one. For a maker, edgeX is the most expensive DEX in the table. edgeX earns its place with stock perps, 100x on BTC and a native app, not with fees. 3. How to apply HOLYGRAIL on edgeX (web, app, existing account)
On the web, before you sign up
- Open the referral link. pro.edgex.exchange/en-US/referral/HOLYGRAIL redirects to edgeX’s invite page (“Invite to join edgeX”). Check the address bar says pro.edgex.exchange.
- Check the code field. The “Register/Login edgeX” form on the right shows Referral Code
HOLYGRAIL, already filled in and locked (in Japanese, 招待コード). Since October 2026 the page fills in whatever code is in the link, even a mistyped one, so compare it letter by letter. - Sign up on that page. Enter your email and the six-digit code, or use one of the wallet buttons (MetaMask, WalletConnect and others) and sign the login message. Email login creates an MPC wallet for you. No KYC either way. If you leave the page without signing up, open the link again before you do.
- Deposit and trade. Deposit USDC (minimum 10 USDC) on one of the supported chains. The referral link is already recorded; there is nothing else to switch on.
In the edgeX app
The iOS and Android apps use the same accounts as the web. edgeX’s own referral flow for the app is “copy your friend’s code, download the app, enter the invite code in the app”: after logging in, edgeX’s own guide says to open Earn → Invite and, on the “Invited” tab, enter HOLYGRAIL in the referral-code form. If you sign in with the same wallet or email on web and app, you are in the same account, so a code added on either side counts once for both.
Already have an edgeX account?
You can still add a code if your account has never had one: log in on pro.edgex.exchange, open More → Referral, and use “Enter your friend’s referral code”. If edgeX answers “You are already linked to a referrer”, the account keeps that referrer and no other code can be added. We do not suggest opening a second account to swap codes: your fee tier and history stay on the old one, and edgeX blocks self-referral.
4. Can you add an edgeX referral code later?
Yes, once. edgeX’s web app has a form to “Enter your friend’s referral code to complete the referral”, and its error messages spell out the limits: a second code fails with “You are already linked to a referrer”, your own code fails with “You cannot use your own referral code”, and some accounts are “not eligible for referral binding”. edgeX’s Japanese media site describes the same: the code can be entered after you open an account, but only once (all checked October 6, 2026). This is more forgiving than Aster, where a code only works at sign-up, and similar to Hyperliquid, which accepts a code until an account has traded $10,000.

In short: our code changes nothing on your side. On $100,000 of taker volume you pay $45.00 either way, at the Regular rate from edgeX’s VIP page. It only tells edgeX who sent you, so we can keep publishing checked pages like this one.
6. Do “50% off” edgeX codes work?
Search for “edgeX referral code” and most results are gamma.site pages and posts on Spotify, LinkedIn, Wokwi or help-desk sites promising 10%, 15%, 40% or 50% off with codes such as OFF50 or KICKBACK. Google’s AI Overview repeats them. We opened them on edgeX itself:
- On October 6, 2026, OFF50, KICKBACK and CASHBACK each opened with the plain “Join with code …” panel: no benefit, fee unchanged at 0.045% / 0.040%. The code OFFER, which edgeX’s own Japanese media site promotes, opened with a “VIP1” badge (VIP 1 = 0.043% taker / 0.038% maker, $2.00 less per $100,000 of taker volume); the logged-out ticket still showed the Regular rate, so we could not confirm it was applied.
- On October 19, 2026, every code link, including OFFER, OFF50 and a code we made up, redirects to the same invite page with the same new-user block and no badge. edgeX publishes no 50% referee discount in its docs, Referral page, VIP page or its October 9, 2026 referral-programme announcement.
- Our code HOLYGRAIL never showed a badge. We would rather say so than copy a percentage from a parasite page.
If a website pays you a rebate for using its code, that is its own cashback, paid (if at all) from its commission and on its own terms. edgeX does not lower your fee for it. Check the dialog edgeX shows when you open a code link: that is the only place a referee benefit actually appears.
7. Invite code vs referral code
They are the same thing. edgeX’s invite page says “Sign up with an exclusive invite code” above a field labelled “Referral Code”, the Referral page asks you to “Enter your friend’s referral code”, and the Japanese interface uses 招待コード. Type HOLYGRAIL exactly as shown. edgeX is not invite-only: anyone outside the restricted regions can sign up without a code. The code only decides who, if anyone, is credited as your referrer.
8. Your own edgeX referral link
Once you have an account, open More → Referral on the web (or Earn → Invite in the app). The page shows your VIP level, your commission rate and your referral link and code. edgeX’s menu advertises “Earn up to 30% commission”; since October 9, 2026 the level depends on how many active referrals you have (each has deposited 100 USDC and traded 50,000 USDC) and on their combined 14-day volume:

Commission comes out of the fees your referees pay; it is not added to them. Self-referral is refused, and multi-account farming is the fastest way to lose rewards on any exchange. Compare the numbers with other DEX programmes in our DEX referral programme guide.
9. Is edgeX safe?
Short version from our full edgeX review: edgeX is a real, operating self-custodial perp DEX, not a scam. You trade from your own wallet (or an MPC wallet created at email login), collateral is USDC, and orders are matched by edgeX’s off-chain engine on its own rollup. The risks are the usual ones: operator and rollup risk, liquidation on leveraged positions, and impostor sites. The official app is pro.edgex.exchange. Japanese law firms warn about the fake “edgex.cyou” investment site. A referral code never requires you to send money to a person. edgeX’s Terms exclude the US, Ontario (Canada) and sanctioned or export-controlled jurisdictions.

Of the three, only Hyperliquid fixes a referee discount in the protocol, the same 4% for every code, and it also has the deepest perp order books of any DEX ($4–8B of daily volume). If you are choosing where to trade crypto perps, start there with the Hyperliquid referral code HOLYGRAIL. One tip for app users: apps such as Phantom often set their own Hyperliquid referral code on accounts that have none, so enter a code on Hyperliquid before you start using an app. Aster’s code gives 5% of your fees back with our split (Aster referral code DTLpLc). Use edgeX for what it does best: stock perps, 100x on BTC and a native app.
FAQ
What is the edgeX referral code?
Ours is HOLYGRAIL. Open pro.edgex.exchange/en-US/referral/HOLYGRAIL before you sign up: edgeX’s invite page opens with the Referral Code field already filled in, and the account you create there with email or a wallet is linked to it. If you already have an account without a referrer, enter HOLYGRAIL on the Referral page. It is a code in edgeX’s own referral programme; it shares its name with our Hyperliquid code but is a separate programme.
Does the edgeX code HOLYGRAIL give a discount?
No. As of October 19, 2026 the invite page opened with HOLYGRAIL shows no code-specific benefit, the order ticket shows the Regular 0.045% taker / 0.040% maker fee, and edgeX’s referral rules (updated October 9, 2026) describe commission for the referrer only. What it does is pay us a commission out of edgeX’s fee income, at no extra cost to you. If a fee discount is what you want, Hyperliquid’s code HOLYGRAIL takes 4% off Hyperliquid fees.
Do “50% off” edgeX codes like OFF50 or KICKBACK work?
No 50% discount exists in edgeX’s rules. On October 6, 2026 OFF50, KICKBACK and CASHBACK opened with the same plain “Join with code …” panel as ours; since edgeX moved code links to a shared invite page, every code (even a made-up one) opens the same page with the same new-user rewards (checked October 19, 2026), and the fee stays at 0.045% / 0.040%. If a website pays you a rebate for using its code, that is its own cashback, paid (if at all) from its commission, not an edgeX fee cut.
Does any edgeX code give a benefit?
Not that edgeX shows today. On October 6, 2026 the code OFFER, which edgeX’s own Japanese media site promotes, opened with a VIP1 badge (VIP 1 = 0.043% taker / 0.038% maker instead of 0.045% / 0.040%, $2.00 less per $100,000 of taker volume). Since edgeX switched to a shared invite page, OFFER opens the same page as every other code, with no badge (checked October 19, 2026). Without an account we cannot see whether partner codes still grant VIP after sign-up. Our code HOLYGRAIL never showed a badge.
Can I add an edgeX referral code after signing up?
Yes, once, if your account has no referrer yet. edgeX’s web app has an “Enter your friend’s referral code” form on the Referral page; it refuses a second code (“You are already linked to a referrer”) and your own code. In the app, edgeX’s own guide puts it under Earn → Invite, on the “Invited” tab.
Is an edgeX invite code the same as a referral code?

Using your own code on a second account is refused by edgeX and breaks the rules.
Is edgeX available in the US?
No. edgeX’s Terms of Use (last updated March 24, 2026) make the service unavailable to the US, Ontario (Canada) and sanctioned or export-controlled jurisdictions, and forbid using a VPN to hide your location. A referral code changes nothing about who may sign up.
